Terms & Conditions

By accessing this website and booking services at Westwood Banquet & Resort, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions governing venue usage, payments, event management, and related services.

1. Booking & Payments

To reserve an event date, a non-refundable booking advance is required. The remaining balance must be cleared at least 15 days prior to the scheduled event date. Payments may be made through bank transfer, cheque, UPI, or approved digital payment methods.

2. Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation by the client, the initial booking amount shall remain non-refundable. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event may incur additional charges depending on the arrangements and operational expenses already incurred.

3. Venue Usage & Guest Conduct

Management reserves the right to deny entry or remove individuals engaging in misconduct, unsafe activities, or disruptive behavior. Guests are expected to maintain decorum and respect the venue premises.

Any damage caused to property, décor, furniture, landscaping, or infrastructure by guests or vendors associated with the client shall be charged to the client accordingly.

4. Catering & Outside Food

Westwood Banquet & Resort provides premium in-house catering services. Outside food or beverages are not permitted unless approved in writing by the management during the booking process.

5. Alcohol & Legal Compliance

Serving alcoholic beverages requires a valid one-day liquor license obtained by the client from the relevant Punjab Excise authorities. Clients must ensure compliance with all local regulations related to alcohol service, public safety, and permitted sound levels.

6. Liability Disclaimer

Westwood Banquet & Resort shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, jewelry, gifts, or valuables during the event. Clients are advised to arrange appropriate security measures for high-value items.

7. Force Majeure

In circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, civil disturbances, or unforeseen emergencies, Westwood Banquet & Resort may offer an alternative event date subject to availability. The management shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential monetary losses.

8. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Mohali, Punjab, India.
